The beginning of the Staple brand came when Jeff Ng, its founder, also known as Jeffstaple, walked into a New York City boutique wearing a printed shirt during a screen printing class at the Parsons School of Design. The boss immediately attracted the attention of those present, and in a few minutes Jeff unwittingly received 12 orders for that same shirt.
The rise was vertical, and the definitive momentum was obtained when Nike decided to collaborate with Jeff in the creation of a sneaker that best represented the city of New York; thus was created the Staple Pigeon Dunk SB, in which for the first time the current symbol of the brand was depicted, namely the pigeon.
Staple is now a consolidated reality of streetwear thanks to its graphics and colorful prints, which make it easily recognizable by everyone.
