Clarks
Clarks was born in 1825 to brothers James and Cyrus Clark in a small English village a few miles from Glastonbury.
The first production was sheepskin slippers which met with great success and the small family tannery in which they were designed became a company that sold all over the island.
In 1863 the recession hit the company and William, James's youngest son, took over the reins of Clarks, revolutionizing the production system and twenty years later he patented the so-called "toilet line“, The first shoe model that adapts to the shape of the foot.
Throughout its centuries-old history Clarks has produced iconic footwear that marked an era and continue to do so, like the desert boots, used in battle before World War II, and the wallabee, historical model worn by Oasis and entered the street club thanks to collaborations with brands of the caliber of Supreme, BAPE e Palm Angels.
